This 39’ single dome tank car is black with white lettering and runs on Archbar trucks. Built-in April 1920, this car was owned and operated by the W.J. McCahan Sugar Refining Company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This 50-ton, the non-insulated car had an 8,105-gallon capacity. The W.J. McCahan Company was founded in 1892, and in 1944 was sold to the American Sugar Refining Company.
