Here's where you'll find all of the information about the latest products available and newest information on the website. There's two ways this page gets updated. First off we'll be posting general news about restocks and new lines to this page, pretty much like we did to the old site. However, you'll also be able to view specifically a listing of all of the products that have been added to our site in the last two weeks arranged from newest to oldest.

Just click on New Products! to view the new products listing.

The built in savings of the Big Ed combined w/our pricing puts your savings at over 50% when compared to individually purchasing the detail sets. They are listed under Eduard-Armor in the Catalog page. Next up will be Aircraft Big Ed sets at similiar savings.

We're putting together a long awaited restock from Model Point. This will include their aircraft gun barrels and new armor update sets as well as items we are currently out of stock on.

08/16/2006

We've added all the new Isradecal products to the site. This includes the fantastic new Hardcover on the F-15 Baz as well as the new decals and resin conversion sets. Some of the newest decal sets for the Sufa included up to date colors and markings for Singapore's F-16Ds as well as reference CD-ROMS with photos.

We also have another batch of AirDoc's 1/48 A-7D decals inbound along w/their newest books. The much-anticipated Israeli Phantom book is still a way out however our preorder with AirDoc has been in place since June so we should be the first to get it.

08/02/2006

We have confirmed a complete restock of all available items from New Ware. This will include the brand new 1/144 Salyut I kit. We expect this to arrive sometime in the next two weeks or so.

Also, I was only able to sneak out of work for two days so won't be vending at the Nats but I will be attending Thursday and Friday. Any orders/emails will be handled sometime on Sunday, August 6.

07/30/2006

The early Vigilante update set for the Trumpeter kit has been added to the site. These include the curved outer leading edge intakes as well as the shorter, curved Leading Edge Root Extension of the early model RA-5C. All you would need is the J-79-8 with the shorter burner can (similiar to the F-4B/C/D/N) and you will have the major differences covered for an early Vigilante.

We have also updated the Isradecal line and expect a complete restock of the newer items this week.

07/24/2006

We've added a bunch of new stock to the website this weekend. The entire line of Owl products (decals/photoetch/resin) has been restocked. Also, the Griffon Models Barracuda detail set has been restocked as have the various items we've been out of for a while from Griffon.

We've added another new line to Victory: Czech Master Resin kits. We're starting small however we were able to get our hands on one of the all singing all dancing Buccaneer kits (1/72) that the modelling press has been raving about for the last 3 months! CMR has an unparalleled reputation for quality and finesse in their all resin model kits and we look forward to expanding the line.

Finally, we've received a restock from Ciro Models. This includes the long anticipated Su-17/22UM conversion set as well as a few items that have been out of stock.

07/15/2006

The AirDoc A-7 sheets have been added to the site under the new products button. Once I get my scanner replaced I'll post scans of each sheet. These cover Atlantic, Pacific, and ANG units along with a special VA-215 "Barn Owls" sheet with 3 different options for the -215 aircraft. Recommended kits are Trumpeter, Hasegawa, and Fujimi for the respective scales.

We have also introduced a new line to Victory Models: MasterCasters. This line of resin accessories and updates focuses on the Avro Arrow in both 1/72 and 1/48 scale and they come with outstanding full-color instructions to boot. Look for additional sets that will target the more esoteric aircraft in the future. Mastercasters has also begun marketing a new line of sanding sticks and sponge buffers. These are larger (last longer) than your typical sanding sticks and have been met with enthusiastic support by modellers who have used them.

07/04/2006

We received our restock of New Ware's Saturn V set and they, along with a batch of the 1/32 Apollo astronauts have been loaded to the site.

The entire line of AirDoc books, decals, and accessories has been restocked as well. The new A-7 decals arrived with the order and should be on the site in the next day or two. These include Navy and ANG sheets in all 3 scales.

05/31/2006

All preorders (and subsequent orders) have been filled and shipped for VPD32001.

We've received shipping notification for our complete restock of the Owl line of decals and resin accessories. We expect them to arrive sometime next week and they'll be posted to the site immediately.

Our restock of New Ware's Saturn V set should be arriving shortly. If you've reserved one you'll be notified first and prior to the sets being placed on the website. Also, another restock is in the works for the remainder of the New Ware line.

04/24/2006

The 1/32 A-7 decals arrived this weekend and the first batch is going out today.

04/21/2006

We've opened up the pre-ordering for VPD32001-US Navy Corsair IIs-These are expected to arrive in the next few days and shipping will commence immediately after their arrival. As a reminder this is a limited one-shot run so get them while you can. Thanks!

04/17/2006

The amazing new book from DACO "Uncovering the Grumman F-14A/B/D Tomcat" has arrived in limited quantities. We don't expect these to last too long so get one while you can.

We've also added the CMK line of weathering pigments to our inventory. "Star Dust" is an exceptionally fine powder that comes in a variety of earth tones and metallics.

The Kazan Alamo missile sets are proving very popular and we've already burned thru half of our order. The Su-9 and Su-11 conversion sets are being recast and will arrive shortly.

04/10/2006

The new R-27 Alamo missile sets from Kazan have arrived. Two new sets specific to the MiG-29 and Su-27 were included in the order along w/a restock of Kazan's Kh-29, Kh-31, and Kh-59 missiles; all in 1/48 scale.

We've also added New Ware's latest releases to the site. They are NW058 Thor SLV-2A Agena D and NW059 Thorad SLV-2H Agena D in 1/144 scale.

04/06/2006

Our New Ware restock has arrived and been loaded to the site. Based on reserved sets of NW008-Saturn V detail set there are only 2 more left so get 'em while you can (more are on the way).

03/02/2006

We've updated Eagle Editions' magnificent line of 1/32 Luftwaffe decals and resin detail sets. This includes the newly released "wooden" flaps for the Dora in 1/32. We are also in the process of loading some Model Point armor detail sets (turrets, barrels, etc.) and Eduard kits and photoetch.

A large restock on the most popular line of rockets from New Ware is on its way to us. This will include a large number of the currently out of stock NW008-Saturn V detail set. This set is featured in the April issue of FineScale Modeler and the article does a great job of pointing out the bonuses of such a set. These sell out very quickly so once they arrive I'll post it to the News section and you can order away. If you would like me to "hold" one you can email me at rcbusby@swfla.rr.com with "Saturn V" in the subject line.

02/21/2006

Newly added to the site are restocks on Ciro Models' beautiful Russian conversion sets and accessories. These include the various MiG-21 and MiG-15 conversions in 1/48 as well. Also, a complete restock on the very popular line of decals from Tally Ho!. This includes several new releases including their P-40 sets/stencils in all 3 scales and, just in time for Hasegawa's new Lancaster, a very fine set of decals that allow you to build either Fox 2, Younger, or Uncle Joe. Look for more new releases in the near future.

02/12/2006

We received our long awaited restock from Neomega. This includes the MiG-25 Cockpit, Saab Viggen set, and the old stalwarts like the Buccaneer and Tornado, to name but a few. We have also put in an immediate restock on some of the items that go quickly (Viggen, Mirage 2000, and the BAe Hawk, for example).

The 1/32 A-7 sheet is at the printers and should be available soon . . . we expect a more definitive date later this week when our printers provide us with a timeframe. The instruction sheets/profiles are also finished and we should receive these relatively quickly and will post previews to the site. Once we're about a week away from release will fire off copies to the various websites and magazines for reviews.

02/04/2006

We have received a few restocks this week and they are as follows: the new RVHP sets have been loaded (see New Products) and the remainder of the line has been restocked. RVHP has released some very fine conversions for Hasegawa's AD-6 in 1/72 along w/a new "Warning Star" set in 1/72. Also look for restocks by Ciro (including the much requested 1/32 Avia S-199 conversion for Hasegawa's G-14), Owl Decals and their Nightfighter sheets, and AML decals.

01/04/2006

Happy New Year! Things starting off with a bang as the long awaited reprint of the AirDoc F-4 Phantom Book #1: USAF(E) Phantoms over Germany-has arrived and in quantity. One of our most requested books (by far!) and newly updated this reprint has been anticipated for quite some time. Thanks to the folks at AirDoc for another stellar effort.

12/29/2005

The last update for 2005! Things are looking promising for '06 and beyond beginning with the A-7 decals in January. As for what's happening now the Lifelike Decal line has been completely restocked and we have also added their 1/72 sheets to bring you every sheet they have. We had restocked the Isradecal sheets but the 1/72 ones are about gone and the new 1/48 sheets are down to 1 or 2 copies each. A restock of Isradecal is in order. Finally, we're blowing out the RVHP twin-sticker 104 conversions at cost. They're listed under the New Products button for easy access.

Happy New Year to all!

12/15/2005

We have posted the 6 profiles along with the cover for the A-7E Corsair II sheet. Note, the decal sheet is correct (the VA-72 bird with the blue-checkered rudder) as we swapped out the "all grey" bird at the last minute. Once that particular profile is received we will post it to the site.

Hobbydecal has been completely loaded to the website. Over 50 new items--all dry transfers. These make for amazing stencils as they give that "painted on" look and also include tail codes and missile/launcher markings. Next up is another brand new line to Victory Models: Griffon Model Accessories. Griffon produce some of the finest resin and photo etch detail sets you will find anywhere and we should have all these items up this weekend.

Finally, I've posted a bunch of model kits from my personal collection for sale. They are located in the "Odds/Ends" section under "Bob's Stuff." This is my wife's favorite part of the website . . . :)

12/13/2005

The final profiles for the Desert Storm A-7s (low-viz) have arrived and should be posted ASAP to the site. The release is still being targeted for early January and we are VERY excited about our first foray into 1/32 scale. Look for this as a sign of things to come!

We are introducing a brand new manufacturer to Victory Models: Hobbydecal of Korea. They produce very fine dry transfer stencils and markings for many of the newest releases, including Tamiya's F-16, Hasegawa's 109s and 190s, as well as a few old stalwarts. The 1/32 line has been added to the site and look for the 1/48 and 1/72 to be up this week. A restock is also in the works for much of their new stuff including a full sheet for the new 1/48 F/A-18E and F.

12/10/2005

The New Ware restock has arrived and been loaded to the site. This gives us about 95% of the line in stock. Included with this is the brand new 1/144 Thor Ablestar/NW056. We've also begun adding our Eduard inventory to the website. We are starting with the kits and moving to the etch sets, masks, etc. as we go along.

12/06/2005

The A-7 decal set continues to move along nicely. We will be including two low-viz birds (both squadrons) from Desert Storm to go along w/the more colorful Vietnam planes. We are also considering rescaling some of our previous projects as well as the new A-7 sheets, however that's a little farther down the road.

Linden Hill has been restocked; including the much requested Su-27 sheets (what's available) in all 3 scales. Isradecal should be finished later tonite. We are also in the process of adding pics of the items; Lifelike Decals should show up tonite or tomorrow and others as time permits.

Restocks are inbound for the following: New Ware, RVHP, Neomega (a monster one), Ciro, Owl, Lifelike Decals, Black Box, and Isradecal.

12/01/2005

Big news from Victory: we have received the color profiles for our new 1/32 A-7 CORSAIR decals for the Trumpeter kit!! This set will offer four (4) Vietnam-era birds (including a Navy Cross winner) as well as two (2) Desert Storm versions. More information will be forthcoming and we will be posting pics ASAP so keep an eye on the Homepage!!

Also, our Vigilante intakes are inbound. This set will allow you to backdate the RA-5C to a pre 156-series bird with the curved outer edge of the intakes as well as new leading edge wing roots.

The website continues to be updated; AirDoc and Black Box have been completed and Linden Hill is next. We've also received word that our monster restock of New Ware models should be here early next week so keep an eye on that. We've added a "New Products" button that will take you directly to the newest additions to the site. I plan on keeping this down to a manageable 2 or 3 pages and just rotating items out as new ones come in.

11/21/2005

We have completed the update of the website. We're now using a SQL database and updated "store" software, but most of the "new and improved" Victory Models is right in front of you. Please have a look around and let me know of anything "out of sorts." Actually you can email me anytime with suggestions, questions, or general comments concerning the site and the company (rcbusby@swfla.rr.com).

As for the store operations we are in the process of uploading hundreds of new and restocked items. I did the books first (AirDoc and Isradecal) and will proceed in generally alphabetical order, beginning with AirDoc this week. I am also cleaning up the database to reflect items in stock or temporarily out of stock as opposed to every item we have ever carried. This, for example, brought the Black Box inventory from 22 pages to a much more manageable 10. Finally, pictures are being added with the goal of having 90% of our items include pics; this has easily been the most requested improvement concerning the website.

As for Victory Productions' products the instruction sheets are being printed as we speak for the early Vigilante conversion set. We are also working on some new decal releases in much the same vein as before; huge sheets w/multiple options and aircraft histories.

11/02/2005

The site will be taken down tonite for an inventory transfer. This should only interrupt service for a few days. The site will still be viewable however orders will not process. Any orders received as of now (5:40 PM EST) have been processed and shipped. Thanks for your patience.

10/07/2005

We will be out of the country until Tuesday, October 18, 2005. All orders received the last 10 days up until now have been processed and will ship Saturday. Any orders received after will be processed when we return. The test shots of the Vigilante conversion are done and we're looking to list them around the first week of November. As for the website upgrade safe to say it's progressing; not at the pace we intended, however! Once an inventory control glitch is worked out we're hoping to effect the transfer. Thanks!

08/12/2005

The remaining stock as been updated; including C&H Aero Miniatures, New Ware, and Model Point. That being said, I will be out of the country until Monday, August 22nd, and thus any orders placed from here on out will not be processed until sometime during the week of the 22nd. All orders received as of right now are going out Saturday morning before I head over to MIA for my flight out. I'm heading out to meet with the site designer and finalize the new look of Victory Models with the hope of having the new site up and running by the first part of September. Thank you for your business!!

08/09/2005

The pre-Nationals restocks are now reflected on the site. A laborious handcount of the entire inventory!! Lots of existing products have been restocked and are available for ordering. We picked up quite a few new items for our existing lines so if something has been out of stock for a while it may be available again. If it's not, we're already working on the next round of restocks as it's heading into the fall - and more modeling time!

In addition to our restocks on existing lines, we're also in the process of adding some exciting new lines to Victory Models: Hobbydecal with their stunning dry transfers, Griffon Model Accessories and their outstanding resin sets, and a MASSIVE restock on Eduard that includes the new "Big Ed" sets and the kits as well. We're in the process of upgrading all the site's function and look, and this is taking (as with anything of this nature) longer than expected. As soon as this is done, we will be adding these new lines for ordering!

Finally, the promised early RA-5C conversion (VPD48504) will be available shortly. This conversion is to backdate the RA-5C to the -8 J-79 version - or the pre-156 series aircraft. The conversion will feature the early style intakes with the curved outer lips and new wing leading edge roots - with the small curved filet. Early style burner cans are available from a number of sources - most notably Aires, so these will not be included in the set, but avaiable as a package purchase. Pictures of the pattern work should be available shortly!

We're working on a number of ideas for both resin and decal updates for the Victory Productions line, so stay tuned, and if you have some good ideas, please drop a line, we're game for almost anything!

07/13/2005

The website will be taken down today so the database can be transferred from Access to SQL; this should make the site much more robust and streamlined when it comes to ordering and tracking products. Also, all major lines have been restocked for the upcoming Nationals in Atlanta next week. These restocks will be reflected on the site after the Nats; sometime around the end of July when the site will also be reopened for business. Thanks for your patience and for your business and I hope to see a bunch of you in Atlanta next week!!

6/02/2005

We're in the process of restocking most of the major lines. AirDoc, IsraDecal, New Ware, and others will be sent this week. Others will follow and I expect them to show up over the coming weeks.

As an aside, we're down do our LAST copy of Spitfire-Aces of the Empire and once gone it's gone for good. Other last items include the Black Box 1/32 F-104G set and Scaledown's F-111 flap/slat set.

Finally, I'm in the process of having this website redesigned. I've seen a few of the "test shots" and it looks very promising. That being said it's a very labor-intensive project so don't expect the "new and improved" Victory 'til sometime after the Nationals.

5/14/2005

Paul reported that the Black Box EA-6B sets arrived and all orders have been packed and shipped as of the 12th of May. That will do it for the Georgia end of Victory Models. However, if you still have questions about an order placed prior to the site reactivation on or about May 2nd please contact Paul.

As a quick reminder, only items that have a blue "In Stock" link on the Catalong pages are available for order. Restocks are starting w/various lines and will be reported here when they arrive. Also, if only one item on an order is out of stock the site will not process the order.

5/5/2005

The site has been reopened, it took a little while to sort everything out (hey it's my first time!) - but you can order now. We're already working on stocking some new lines, and prepping for our big IPMS/USA Nationals stock-up, so stay tuned!

Those of you waiting on Black Box EA-6B cockpits, we ask for your patience - the original shipment still has not arrived from VMD. As soon as it gets here, we'll get it shipped out ASAP!

5/4/2005

We had a great show in Orlando, it was a super first time out for me as the new owner. Unfortunately it is taking a little longer than anticipated to get everything processed and get the inventory updated on the website. We're hoping that it'll be done today, so stay tuned, we'll re-open as soon as possible!

4/26/2005

We're continuing the transfer process, most of the website is now ready to run and point to our new bank and contact address - as soon as we record the sales from the Orlando show, we'll be all set, and looking forward to taking your orders.

Paul reported that he's shipped a large batch of orders today. However, apparently the Black Box EA-6B cockpits are delayed, and those orders are still to be shipped - right now it sounds like they'll go the first of next week (5/2).

4/25/2005

While we're working on getting the books closed and everything transferred down to Floriday, we wanted to start posting a few updates this week. If you have any questions about the future of Victory Models, or just want to introduce yourself, the new contact e-mail address is rcbusby@swfla.rr.com . We'll post the new address the first part of this week - basically as soon as we have it available.

Our new address is on the template at the left (and on all pages), but we'll list it here in the news page today:

Victory Models
PO Box 152239
Cape Coral, FL 33915-2239

Also we have a new fax number: +1-239-540-0749 although it will not be up for another couple of days.

Also it's worth posting that if you have a question about an older order or any business that you had with Victory prior to 4/21/2005, you should still contact pcotcher@mindspring.com . We are working closly together to ensure a smooth transition in ownership, and little to no "visible" interruption to you the customer.

4/21/2005

Well we've reached the end. It's almost hard to imagine, but at 8:00 tonight we'll be shutting down the checkout function on the site, and that will be it for Dave and I and Victory Models. As most of you know, Victory will have a new owner as of 5/1/2005. His name is Bob Busby - we met with him this last weekend to show him the ropes, and we can tell you that Victory will be in capable hands.

We've really enjoyed working with all of you over the last seven years, and feel like we've put together a good company and good offering. It's time for Victory to grow, and move on to the next level, unfortunately it can't do that with us in charge, as we have too many other responsibilities pulling us in all number of different directions. But let us say a simple "Thank You!" Your business and support have made this company what it is.

We'll see some of you at the Sumter show this weekend, so we'll get one last hurrah there. After that we'll spend next week closing and balancing the books and then handing the company off to Bob, who will launch his effort at the IPMS Orlando show. He expects to have the site re-opened on Monday May 2nd.

If you have any pressing orders, please make sure to have them placed by 8:00 PM Eastern as that's when we'll be taking the site down toinght (about six hours from now)

4/19/2005

We received a shipment from Copper State Models today, this includes a large restock, as well as eight new items, including four all new 1/48 kits!

4/17/2005

We received a large shipment from our Australian supplier, in that order we received restocks from High Planes , Aussie Decals , and Falcon Clear Vacs . These included several new items, including five new High Planes kits, and eight new 1/72 resin updates from High Planes' Wurmcastings line.

4/14/2005

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU! In the process of investigating the possibility of a reprint on our Vigilante decal set, we found out that our decal printers had run spare decals (typical for a printing process I suppose) - and we've purchased those spares. We have about 30 complete sets of VPD48007 that we'll be able to sell at the normal price. The decals arrived this morning, and will be packed over the weekend. Beyond those 30 sets, we might have spare "decal" only sets, but we'll take a look at that after the weekend and we've been able to CAREFULLY count everything out.

While the reprint is still uncertain (we'd have to do 500 more, and that represents a big risk), this is your best chance at the decals - so order early, they won't last long!

4/10/2005

As promised, the Black Box 1/48 EA-6B cockpit is now available for pre-order! This item is expected to ship the week of 4/18. This is the original Black Box EA-6B cockpit, featuring a newly refurbished tub, four new sidewall pieces, four new seats (featuring differing belt details), and optional early and late instrument panels. This has been one of the most sought after Black Box cockpits on the secondary market, so now's your chance to get one right off the first release!

As a reminder, we will be closing the checkout down on the 21st of April to travel to the IPMS Region Three show in Sumter, SC. After that the site will not be back up until the middle of the week of 5/2. We are expecting two more orders, one from our Australian supplier - it should contain a stock of High Planes, Falcon, Aussie Decals, Wurmcastings, etc. The other expected order will come from Copper State. We expect the next two weeks to be very busy with orders, and will be shipping as on schedule as possible - the new owner will be here this coming weekend to learn the ropes, so we should be posting more about that through the next week.

We've had a lot of great stuff come in of late, so take a look around the site, especially at the last few updates!

4/7/2005

We're restocked on the Black Box 1/48 RA-5C cockpit - so those of you waiting on those to come back in can order again! We also received word that the NEW Black Box 1/48 EA-6B cockpit should be coming next week some time. It is based on the previous release, but does include several refinements. Those of you that have been searching for this set for quite some time finally will have an option to get one. Just as soon as we can confirm when they're coming, we will open pre-orders on the set - watch this page for more information.

If you missed the last update, there are TONS of new things in stock this week, and plenty still available, see the complete list of the SIX updates that we posted on Monday!

4/4/2005

We're back from Anniston - had a great time as always, seeing friends old and new. The site is back and open for business, and not a moment too soon as we have MAJOR shipments today to report:

AirDOC - FIVE new books and a complete restock, also news that ADR48004 and ADR48005 - the F-4C and F-4D conversions are being reworked and corrected, watch for updates on Hyperscale as well as this site soon - replacement parts will be provided to all customers that previously purchased the sets.

Belcher Bits - Two new items for CF-5s - a 1/32 Conversion and a 1/48 Detail Set - along with a restock.

FlightDecs - New sheets covering the Canadair Sabre in RCAF, RAF and Luftwaffe service.

Kazan - Restock on all available items.

New Ware - Three new items - two 1/144 Launch Vehicles and the much anticipated 1/32 Apollo Astronaut figure set.

SOL - As much of a restock as our supplier could provide - this line is getting harder to restock, so order early!

And with all this arriving today - there's still more to come!

Please note that we continue to move toward the sale of the company. The site will be open for about three more weeks, at which point we'll close it the evening of April 21st. After that we'll head to the IPMS R3 show in Sumter, SC. Following that show the site will remain closed while we do inventory, etc. The site will then re-open sometime the week of May 2nd under the new owner.

3/31/2005

We have a three-fer today! First up we have a large shipment from Ultracast including five new items. Next is a shipment from Sky Models Decals - also includes a new 1/48 P-40 decal. Finally, a small restock from Black Box on sets that we were out of stock on.

We did ship all BBX RA-5C pre-orders on Tuesday (same day service!) so you should be getting those today or tomorrow if you're in the US.

Please note that we'll be shutting down the checkout on the site later this evening to head to a model show in Anniston, Alabama this weekend - hopefully we'll see some of you there! We should be back and active Sunday or Monday.

More restocks are still due! Including Kazan, SOL, Belcher, High Planes, Wurmcastings, Falcon, Copper State, TallyHo, AirDOC and New Ware. In fact, we've already heard from some of you looking for the latest New Ware items (due to the recent review on Hyperscale) - those are coming in the next shipment, so please be watching for that sometime next week!

3/29/2005

The Black Box 1/48 RA-5C cockpits arrived in stock today - and are now available for regular ordering. Pre-orders should go out today, tomorrow at the latest!

3/27/2005

The restocks are continuing to arrive - NeOmega has been restocked. Some of the most popular/recent items (1/48 MiG-25 and Viggen) are sold out all the way back to Moscow. We are told that supplies should again be coming in 2-3 weeks, so be looking then for restocks on those sets.

Also received the invoice for the Black Box Vigilante sets, so those should arrive and start shipping tomorrow. We also expect quite a few more restocks to arrive this week going into the Anniston, Alabama show next weekend.

3/23/2005

We're still running full speed here - even with the sale going forward, we're getting in new stock. Today we've received a shipment from our supplier in Poland, this incldues a restock on Techmod and HiDecals as well as three new sets of photo-etch from Part - these cover the latest Roden 1/48 W.W.I Fighters.

Please note with Poland's recent conversion to the Euro, we had to raise a number of prices on this latest restock. Please note that there are plenty of decal sets, and similar from older restocks, these are still at the original prices, however, as they sell out, we will restock them, and the price is likely to rise. So now's your chance to get them while you can at the older prices.

3/21/2005

We are excited to annouce that Victory Models is UNDER CONTRACT!

As many of you know we've been working on selling the company for about two years now. We've had a couple of different prospective buyers come along, and finally, we have a buyer, a contract and a deposit. So we're excited to announce that as of May 1st, 2005, Victory Models will be under the ownership of Robert (Bob) C. Busby of Cape Coral, Florida.

Now before you panic - we're viewing this as a win-win for everyone! Victory will continue much the same as it always has - in fact, we're working very hard right now to get everything stocked up for the spring shows, as well as being hard at work on a number of new Victory Productions items for kits that haven't even been announced yet! So the product line up will be the same great stuff that you've always enjoyed, and likely under Mr. Busby's ownership will grow to all new heights! In fact, one of the criteria that Dave and I set forward was that we wanted to find somebody that would keep the good name of Victory and move it to the next level - like any proud founders, we want to see our little company grow and expand!

While Dave and I have only ever been able to run Victory as a part time endeavour, the new owner is planning on running it as a much more full time type of arrangement, which should make for better service and faster shipping times. It will also allow him to concentrate on more mainstream lines, making Victory's offering comparable to some of larger outfits - look for lines like AiRes, CMK and similar to come available soon! We'll be posting an e-mail address for Bob shortly, so that you can start to send him your ideas for what you'd like to see out of the company.

In the interim as Bob transitions, I will be staying involved as sort of a management consultant, so I'll probably still be answering many of your questions for the next few months while Bob gets up to speed. I will also keep my hand in Victory Productions as the design manager for future products - the good news is, I'm in better contact than ever with the manufacturers, and have plenty of decal research projects underway at present to support these coming kits - I've talked with Bob and we hope that Victory Productions can do a lot more like the RA-5C decal set, where a decal is released virtually in parallel with the kit.

Obviously there will be a lot more to talk about over the coming weeks as we move toward the May 1st sale date, so we're posting a Victory Ownership Sale page to keep you posted on all the latest - information about Bob, the schedule under which things will be taking place over the next few weeks, etc.

Dave and I have had a great time running the company these last several years, perhaps the best part has been meeting and talking to many of you at the shows that we've traveled to. Make no mistake, Dave and I are far from giving up modeling, we're both looking forward to having a little more free time and perhaps getting a few more models built! We'll still be traveling the southeastern show circuit, so we'll look forward to seeing you all there.

Thanks to everyone for making Dave and my little effort such a great success, without you Victory wouldn't be poised to move toward such a bright future!

3/17/2005

Let's keep the ball rolling today - one of the most anticipated sets to come down the pike in a while is now available for pre-order. This is of course the Black Box Combat Series 1/48 RA-5C Vigilante Cockpit . We're getting first run on these, so we expect to have them early next week, and a sample sooner, so look for a preview as soon as it arrives.

The IsraCast items are selling BRISKLY, so if you want to get in on the first round, order soon, some have already sold out!

The server move seems to be pretty much completed, please let us know if you're having any difficulty using the site, or notice any broken links, etc.

3/16/2005 - On the New Server

O.K. it appears that we've got this move completed. So with that out of the way, we're happy to announce a couple of big arrivals here at Victory.

First up, we received the HIGHLY anticipated IsraCast line of resin parts from IsraDecals . We received as much as we could get in, and even with that, we expect it to sell out quickly. Initial inspection of a couple of the sets show that they are nicely cast and well detailed.

Next up we've received stock of the latest decals from Linden Hill - these include the latest round of Flankers on Patrol in all three scales. This time it's covering southern Russia based Flankers along with the Ukraine. Also in is another set of Hind decals in 1/35. Of course we received a welcomed restock on the rest of the line as well. Supply is running short on the older decals, so don't wait too long to order them in.

3/15/2005

We're in the process of moving servers at our ISP - it should not effect your use of the site, just improve the security and efficiency of our site. In the meantime we're holding off on posting a couple of new arrivals - we should have them up tomorrow when the move is completed. Both shipments will prove to be VERY popular!

3/10/2005

Restocking has begun for the Spring show season! That's right we're in full-on restock mode to get geared up for all the spring shows that we'll be travelling to! Here's a list of shows where you'll be able to see us (more dates may be added, but these are the confirmed dates):

March 19th - Charlotte, NC
April 2nd - Anniston, AL
April 23rd - Sumter, SC
May 1st - Orlando, FL
July 20-23 - Atlanta, GA - IPMS USA National Convention

We always enjoy meeting our customers out on the road, so hopefully we'll get to see you at one of these upcoming shows!

And to kick off the restocks, today we've received a good restock from IsraDecals - this includes the decals and books. We're told that the IsraResin items should be arriving to our distributor ANY day now, and as soon as they do, we have a large pre-order, so we should get stock shortly after it arrives!

Also in stock today are the latest two decal sets from Echelon Fine Details . These two sets cover the King Tiger of the 501st and 505th SPzAbt.

We've still have a lot of good sets left in the Black Box Sample Sale . Take a look at the list it is updated through today's sales!

3/8/2005

We have a large pile of Black Box Samples and Spares that we're going to be disposing - this list goes back almost to the beginning of Black Box and includes such beauties as the EA-6B, F-106 and more! We're not going to list these through the regular site (too much trouble) as there's only one each of these sets. Take a look at the list and then e-mail us with the ones that you're interested in, we'll setup the deal from there.

Also note that Paul's Sale List has been updated - there's a lot of new items on the list now - packing up to move will uncover all kinds of stuff won't it?

3/4/2005

The Black Box Combat Series 1/32 F-16C cockpit for the Tamiya kit is now in stock and ready for shipping. Pre-orders will be shipped over the weekend, as always this looks to be another great set from the fine folks at Black Box. We should have word on the 1/48 RA-5C cockpit early next week, including pictures and hopefully a preview copy.

Also, just one more warning on VPD48001, VPD48006 and VPD48007, these three decal sets are all on the verge of selling out, so if you have any interest, order soon!

3/1/2005

We now have three decal sets on the verge of selling out. VPD48001 - fewer than 50 are in stock, VPD48006 -15 remain in stock , and . VPD48007 has sold faster than any previous Victory Production set. We've had to ration our distributor orders, and will retain these last 30 sheets for retail customers. If you have any interest in the Vigilante decal set, order now as it'll be gone very soon. The Spitfire set is also right on the verge of selling out, and the Corsair set isn't far behind.

Please note, this isn't hype, we just want to make sure that everyone knows so that they don't miss out on decals that they want. Ask anyone looking for VPD48003 the German Starfighter set, and you'll know what you'll be up against once these sell out.

2/24/2005

Today we received a shipment from New Ware . This includes their Soyuz Dust Down diorama and photo-etched ISS trusses, as well as a restock on the rest of the line.

We've also added the Black Box Combat Series 1/32 F-16C cockpit for the Tamiya kit for pre-orders. These should arrive for general release any day now.

2/20/2005

We've sent out the first batch of VPD48007 RA-5C Vigilante decals - this includes the first round of pre-orders, our press copies and our distributor shipment. We hope to have the rest of our pre-orders shipped NLT Tuesday, so the sheet should be in general availability by mid-week. Please note, we've sold almost 3/4 of the print run in about one week's time. Unlike previous VPD releases, these won't last around for a year or more, rather more likely just a couple of months.

Please also note at the same time, VPD48006 Spitfire Aces of the Empire is nearly sold out - only about 25 copies remain - we expect these to be sold in the next few weeks, and then the set will be gone from availability - don't wait - if you have any interest in this set, it's almost gone - don't be left trying to find over-priced copies on ebay! VPD48001 isn't far behind!

2/14/2005

The Vigilante decals arrived today, so packing is underway. We hope to start shipping pre-orders and press copies later this week, orders have been faster for this set than any previous Victory Productions product - in fact VPD48007 is already more than HALF sold!

Relating to the Vigilante - we hope to have news of the Black Box Combat Series RA-5C cockpit later this week - along with pre-orders on their 1/32 F-16C cockpit for the Tamiya kit. Stay tuned!

2/10/2005 - Vigilante Decals Pre-Orders!

As promised VPD48007 our RA-5C decal set has come out just in time for the kit! The decals will arrive next week, and should start shipping 2/21, if not sooner - right about the same time as the kit's release. So we've opened Pre-Orders on these decals, as well as have launched a Preview Page of the contents of the decal set.

1/26/2005

A long awaited RVHP restock has arrived bringing most of the line back to full availability. Of course, as always these sets sell quickly!

1/23/2005

The new Black Box Combat Series 1/48 F-16 cockpits are here - both the F-16CG/GJ and F-16A MLU cockpit are now in stock and ready for ordering. Note that these cockpits are both completely new patterns and not related to any previous 1/48 F-16 release frmo Black Box. We should have news on the 1/48 RA-5C cockpit and 1/32 F-16C cockpit shortly - so stay tuned as we expect to be able to have pre-orders on both soon!

Also the first set of 1/48 RA-5C decals will be available soon - as soon as we get delivery confirmation, we will be looking to open pre-orders. These should be available for $19.95 retail - a full preview of the production artwork will be available this week!

1/21/2005

We've received a small shipment from Poland including a restock of the Eureka two cables and some new Techmod decals.

We've also received the invoice from our Czech supplier, which says that the RVHP order that we've been waiting for is finally about to arrive, as usual these conversions will sell out quickly. We have also started a pretty big restock cycle, so watch this page over the next month, as many of the lines will be restocked as we start to head into the Spring show season. If there is something in particular you're looking for, let us know, and we'll try to get it in this round.

Finally, we're a little behind in the shipping department right now, with both Dave and Paul traveling in the last ten days, it's put our schedule a little off. We should be completely caught up by the end of this weekend, so it won't be a bad delay.

1/12/2005

The 1/48 MiG-25 Cockpits are here! That's right, we've received at least a small initial stock on the NeOmega MiG-25 cockpit . It looks very nice, and will most certainly be a large enhancement over what comes in the kit. Along with that cockpit set, we received a very small restock of other key NeOmega items, so check out the full list.

We've also received a small restock of the Linden Hill 1/32 Flankers On Patrol decal set. We received these on their warning that stocks on that set have dropped below 50 sets - and therefore it's likely to sell out soon, therefore if you have any interest in this decal set, get it now before it disappears.

1/4/2005

We've taken delivery of the rest of our Eagle Editions order. This shipment included our initial stock of their fine Eagle Parts resin line, with updates in 1/32 for the Hasegawa Bf109 and Fw190 series of kits. Check out the Eagle Editions page for the full listing, along with the decals that we received last week.

12/31/2004 - Happy New Year EVERYONE!

One last update for the year - although I suppose for some of you, it's already 2005!

First, up, as promised, we have SIX copies of VPD48003 available - they are as we described in the 12/19 update - some are missing the smaller supplemental sheets, but by and large they are all complete. When you order these, you order them "AS IS" no returns, etc. They are completely usable for 75% of the subjects on the instructions - and more, if you use your research! This should really fill the gap for some of you!

Next, we have a preview of the upcoming 1/48 F-16 sets from Black Box - these look just incredible - so get ready for pre-orders next week.

Finally, Paul has added a number of new items to Paul's Personal Sale Page including more kits on the main list - some Black Box sets have also been marked down!

Next week, as we move into 2005 - we hope to have production previews of the FIRST RA-5C decal set (that's right, there's a REALLY good chance we'll be doing a second - it all depends on sales), as well as some thoughts on new lines that we'll be looking into for 2005! Not to mention, that we're finally moving into the year that the IPMS/USA Nationals come back to ATLANTA!!!!

12/29/2004

Getting down to the end of the year - and we have two new lines to add today!

First up the first part of the Eagle Editions order has arrived (the rest will arrive early next week). This line needs no introduction, as is really is the premier source for high-quality W.W.II Luftwaffe decals and resin parts. This order includes a selection of their latest decals, covering the new Hasegawa 1/32 Fw190A-8, Bf109K-4 and Bf109G-10. We're going to have their brand new Fw190A-5 decals just as soon as they're released too. Resin parts will be here in the next order. This really is great stuff, and we're happy to be adding it to our line-up!

Next up comes a request from our customer base - stock the Revell-Germany 1/72 F-16C 50/52 - so we got as many as our distributor had - which was only three for this initial order. We'll see how these go and then try to continue stocking them - and perhaps other Revell-Germany items as we can get them in.

12/27/2004

We hope everyone has enjoyed their holidays thus far, that everyone is looking forward to a prosperous New Year, 2005. We'll have a couple of updates this week, so long as the post-Christmas shipping isn't too messed up. We're waiting on the balance of our Eagle Editions order to arrive so that we can add that product-line to our catalog.

Also today, just a quick update on Paul's Personal Sale Page . I've updated all the stock from all the orders that I processed over Christmas. There are a couple of reservations that will be cancelled shortly if payment doesn't arrive (the A-6 really is taken, so don't ask!) - so monitor the list this week, as some items may become available again. And as always there are still some great deals on there for older Black Box sets that are no longer available.

Those of you that haven't visited for a few weeks should review the last few updates, as there have been quite a lot of new items come in lately!

As always we're looking for your suggestions or comments as we move into the New Year, how can we serve you better?

12/23/2004

We have several shipments to report in this pre-Christmas update. First up we have a pretty large restock on all of the recent, popular Linden Hill Decals . This includes the Flankers on Patrol and Su-27 stencil sets that have been best sellers over the last few weeks!

Next up we have a nice NeOmega restock, this includes most of the out of stock sets, including the popular BAe Hawk cockpits. It also included the new 1/48 Mirage 2000 cockpit and 1/48 SAAB Viggen ejection seat. Their other newer sets were sold out right back to Moscow due to overwhelming sucess at the recent UK Nationals. We are promised a restock on these sets sometime in early to mid-January - so if you're waiting on that MiG-25 cockpit (I know I am) - you won't have to wait much longer!

We've also received a restock as well as new decals from Lifelike Decals from Japan. These are great decal sets of interesting subjects. Their latest decals, covering P-47s, are new to us here, and are, as an added bonus, printed by Microscale! Note also because we buy these directly, our pricing is much better than the standard retail offered by the other US importers of this line. Try a set out, you won't be disappointed!

Finally, we have received the new B-17F decals from Zotz . These are some of the best decal sets ever printed. They are very extensive covering a wide variety of subjects featuring colorful noseart, interesting mission markings, full national insignia and stenciling, they're just amazingly complete - the 1/48 set is comprised of NINE different decal sheets! These will be very popular sets, and we expect them to fully sell out soon! Note also our pricing on these sheets...

And to end this update, we'd first remind everyone to review the next update down - two of our Victory Productions decal sets are heading toward "the end." Due to the popularity of the latest sheet, VPD48005 F-104s, we've been selling a lot more of the older decals, and consequently, stocks are getting thin - and once they're gone, they're gone! On a related note, it's looking better and better to get a few copies of VPD48003 back in - probably 6-12 tops - this should be sometime next week - read the notes below - first come first served when they're in stock.

I'm sure we'll be updating one more time before the New Year, but this will likely be the last before Christmas - we hope everyone has a great holiday!

12/19/2004

While working on assembling Victory Productions decal sets tonight we stumbled across a few interesting things to note. First off, stock on VPD48006 Spitfire: Aces of the Empire is extremely limited - less than 50 remain in stock, also, VPD48001 has dropped to fewer than 100 in stock. Both sets will be selling out very, very soon. So don't get caught looking for them after they're gone. Check the secondary market pricing on VPD48003 German F-104s and you'll see why it's best to buy them NOW!

Speaking of VPD48003 - we MAY have found some stock on this decal set - obviously it's extremely limited, but we may just have a few sellbale decal sets left - most are complete, although some are potentially missing the corrected ejection seat warning triangles (the center text is incorrectly blurred on the main sheet) and/or the extra number/code letter sheet - but in all cases, the sheets at least have the color instructions and main decal sheet, so they are completely usable to build at least a couple of models - probably more - only certain, early German Starfighters carried the number style on the secondary sheet.

Once we are able to verify what we have, these sets will be sold on a first come first served basis, they will be sold at a price based on our purchase price of the decals - all pricing will be the same regardless of what secondary sheet might be missing as these are very minor pieces to the set. There will be NO pre-orders, back orders, or similar, so please don't e-mail us. These will appear in the web-interface as in stock, and then sell to whoever is lucky enough to catch them as "in stock." We're putting this warning up early so those of you that are looking for the set can be watching the site for the stock to appear, this way, everyone has as equal a chance as we can provide. I wish we had a couple of hundred of these, but we just don't - and what we are getting is likely to be 10 or fewer...

In the meantime, watch the site this week for new stock from NeOmega, Linden Hill, Zotz, Lifelike Decals and a new line for us Eagle Editions. Lots happening at Victory as we roll into the end of 2004!

12/17/2004

We've just restocked the whole Black Box Combat Series line. This includes the very popular 1/32 Su-27 and 1/32 F-15C cockpit along with many of the older sets that were also out of stock. If you haven't checked out our new pricing on this line yet, you really should, we've quickly moved back into the roll of being the number one sources for Black Box products. Stay tuned for announcements about 2005 releases - we hope to have them posted here first!

Paul has also updated all the quantities and availability on Paul's Personal Sale Page including all the Black Box status. There's still a bunch of great sets available, so check out the list, there may be that one set that you've asked us about in the past that wasn't available until now! Also note that if you can find a lower price listed on a website that has these sets in stock Paul will likely match or beat that price (but remember they have to be listed AND IN STOCK at that site).

12/10/2004

Paul has added a whole slew of older Black Box sets to his personal disposal page - it's a great chance to pick up quite a few old sets that are no longer available. Check out Paul's Personal Sale Page to see the list and ordering terms.

12/8/2004

We've received the spectacular new Isradecals F-4 Stencil Sets, they are indeed very comprehensive. Note these are not IAF F-4 stencils, these are English stencils appropriate to most Air Forces. Ra'anan at IsraDecal has promised some really nice IAF F-4 decals for early next year, so we'll look forward to those. We also received a new 1/72 Mirage III set as well as a restock on the popular 1/48 Mirage III set. All available through the IsraDecal Catalog Pages .

We're still catching up from the Thanksgiving backlog, but will have it caught up by tomorrow. The launch of the new decal set has proven to be by far our most popular yet, and it's keeping us REALLY busy here. Thanks again for your support!

12/2/2004

Well we're back from our Thanksgiving break, and have been overwhelmed by the positive response to our new F-104 decals. There are already two big reviews on line (Hyperscale and Internet Modeler) - both reviews give our set VERY high marks, and our orders show it. We've continued to have orders pouring in, and will be catching up with our post-Thanksgiving backlog over the weekend. So thank you for helping this latest release to be our most popular yet!

In the meantime, we can report that the Black Box F-15C Cockpits have arrived and will be shipping out, unlike the Su-27 cockpit, there won't be a bad backlog for this one, although sales have been strong. We should have previews of the new 1/48 F-16C cockpit soon, we'll be anxious to see what the new pattern looks like! Stay tuned - as always we're your best source for Black Box, both information and products!

Finally we've been alerted that the new Isradecals F-4 Stencils have arrived to our distributor, and should be here early next week, so stand by for those!
